La Contenta Course Layout

1 - 440 yards, par 4
Dog leg right, with small creek 70 yards in front of the green. Green slopes slightly from front to back. Straightforward starting hole.

2 - 175 yards, par 3
Good par three! Tee shot must carry large pond to an elevated green that is guarded by large bunkers. Use half a club more than normal. Par is good score on this difficult par three.

3 - 485 yards, par 5
Tee shot in fairway a must on this hole. OB left and right make tee shot difficult. Ball placed on the top of hill leaves approximately 220 yards to the front of the green. Be happy with par on this short par five.

4 - 215 yards, par 3
This par three is harder than it looks. Downhill, with a large green, and surrounding bunkers make par a great score on this hole.

5 - 315 yards, par 4
Short uphill par four that can yield many birdies with a good drive in the fairway. Uphill second shot to a green that you can't see makes getting it close to the hole difficult. Miss it left or right and you're in trouble.

6 - 350 yard, par 4
Mid to long iron, or fairway wood off the tee a good play here. Aim to the left edge of the bunker. This leaves you with a short iron to a large green. Watch out for water in front of the green.

7 - 475 yards, par 5
Best par five on the golf course. Water right, and OB left, make this tee shot the hardest on the course. A ball placed in the fairway leaves you with a hard choice: carry the lake to the green, or lay up? Leave here happy with a par.

8 - 210 yards, par 3
Similar to the fourth hole. Water right, and a small creek running the left of the green make this par three difficult.

9 - 410 yards, par 4
Good hole with which to finish the front side. Long par four, a wide fairway, and a deep green, Four is a great score here.

10 - 420 yards, par 4
A tee shot to a sometimes blind landing area makes this long par four tough. The green is guarded to the right by a creek and to the left by a tree and OB.

11 - 405 yards, par 4
Dog leg right par four that is set up by the tee shot. A drive to the middle of the fairway leaves you to a short iron to a green that slopes from back to front. Be sure to keep your approach shot below the hole on this one.

12 - 340 yards, par 4
Short, but difficult par four. Stay left of the large oak tree in the fairway. One more club is needed to get to this elevated three-tiered green that slopes severely from back to front. Three-putts are common on this green!

13 - 185 yards, par 3
Signature hole. Great par three with an elevated tee and a pond in the front of the green. Green slopes from back to front. Above the hole is not the place to be on this hole.

14 - 460 yards, par 5
This par five requires a tee shot that is accurate, not long. The crest of the hill is the best place to be. Green slopes from back to front. This par five warrants many birdies and bogeys.

15 - 350 yards, par 4
Best play off the tee is to hit a driver over the top of the oak tree in front of the tee blocks. Drive in the fairway will leave a short iron to green. Small oak tree on the right side of the green makes getting to back right pin difficult. Lots of birdies made here.

16 - 415 yards, par 4
OB left makes the drive a difficult one. Long to mid iron second shot to a deep green this is guarded in front by a bunker, and to the right by a creek bed. Par is great score here.

17 - 315 yards, par 4
Easiest hole on the course. Green is not very deep, and the bunker in the front will grab many golf balls.

18 - 460 yards, par 4
Easily the hardest hole on the course! Long par four that has OB left and water through the fairway. Ball in the fairway a must. Second shot to this green is the hardest on the course. Green is completely surrounded by water. Any shot astray is in trouble. Green is fairly flat. Birdie on this finishing hole will be the highlight of the day.
